Can’t really help you - ours is a bit boring too: Jamie’s mac n cheese and a green salad. Tomorrow it’s pea, feta and mint frittata.

C0nn1e · 19/05/2021 16:35

Fish pie. I defrosted the freezers this morning and found lots of different fish. They will have it with carrots and broccoli. Pudding will be something from their treat boxes, but they would have loved a trifle!

HereLiveIAmNotACat · 19/05/2021 16:37

Kiev mash broccoli

Quornflakegirl · 19/05/2021 16:37

Prawn spaghetti with lemon butter, parmesan and parsley.
Garlic bread.

massistar · 19/05/2021 16:39

DH is barbecuing all the random bits of meat he found in the freezer. Will conjure up some kind of salad to accompany!

Sugarcube84 · 19/05/2021 16:41

Slow cooked brisket in red wine with roast potatoes, carrot and swede and cabbage.

KFleming · 19/05/2021 16:43

Leftover bolognese from yesterday. Very exciting.

NoFashion · 19/05/2021 16:45

Chicken satay with broccoli and kale done in the oven so it's crispy like seaweed.

Family favourite and nice and quick to make after picking up from clubs.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 19/05/2021 16:46

Not sure. Might make cauliflower soup ... honestly, it's really nice.

BonnyEm · 19/05/2021 16:52

Tortellini, with garlic, Pancetta, pesto and flat bread
Feeling meh with a cold so need something that only takes minutes to cook.

Xiaoxiong · 19/05/2021 16:53

Five snap. Mac & Cheese, green salad, crudités for the kids.

(Speaking of which, instead of crudités, there an English word for "cut up sticks of raw veg"??)

WithIcePlease · 19/05/2021 16:54

Mines boring too - lamb chops - but it's DH favourite
Did a vast pulled pork yesterday with HM coleslaw which was lovely

idontlikealdi · 19/05/2021 17:01

An invention / sausages broken down into meatballs slow cooked in a tomato ragu type thing with cannellini and butter beans, baked in the oven with mozzarella on top

Mammymar · 19/05/2021 17:06

Chicken breasts stuffed with garlic butter and cheese, chips and coleslaw.

Ninkanink · 19/05/2021 17:08

Spaghetti alla puttanesca.

Usually we have it on its own as it’s my go-to for a no effort dinner, but I think I might put some aubergine on the griddle pan to accompany it.

EileenGC · 19/05/2021 17:10

Chickpea salad. Basically chickpeas, cucumber, sweetcorn, and whatever salad stuff I can find in the fridge that needs using.

AtLeastThreeDrinks · 19/05/2021 17:16

Burrito bowls: Mexican rice, refried beans, spiced veg mix, guacamole, salsa, sour cream and a pile of cheese.

PurpleDaisies · 19/05/2021 17:19

Jacket potato, beans and cheese.

BlueLobelia · 19/05/2021 17:19

Oh some of these sound lovely. Lamb chops are my favourite also.

Homemade chicken zinger burgers and chips, chicken and veg pasta for those who don’t eat burgers.

LindaEllen · 19/05/2021 17:30

Sausages and mash. The laziest I can possibly get without getting a takeaway 😂

dirtyfries · 19/05/2021 17:30

Chicken, pesto, goats cheese and sundried tomato puff pastry parcels. Will probably serve with some green beans and new potatoes. Really quick and easy, our take on Jamie's 'chicken puff pastry'
