Wallpaper feature wall - Yay or Nay?

I'm completely redoing my bedroom and it will be green. I am wondering whether I should have one wall wallpapered: a bit of a feature wall. There are so many nice patterns now, but have I missed the boat? Is it terribly naff?
Room will have medium dark wooden floors, some dark green painted furniture and fairly industrial bedside cabinets and lights. I prefer a modern to a traditional look.

Also considering doing skirting in a darker green than the walls, but I guess that's a question for another thread!

I have a green bedroom with a feature wall and it’s not naff in the slightest.
Not the best photo but you get the idea.

Have what you like.
I’d rather see a feature wall than a load of terminally dull and depressing grey any day.

@Bluntness100

It’s a yes from me but with conditions.

If it’s cheap crap wallpaper with big flowers or whatever on from b&q it’s a no. But if you pick a beautiful wallpaper, and these normally cost ££££ and tone the rest of the walls in with it, then it’s a huge yes.

So it’s about the quality of the willpower and how you tie the other walls in. That makes it a yes or no

I agree. I have a beautiful wallpapered wall in my bedroom. The other walls slope so the only option was to paint them. The wallpaper I have is Oriental Garden in dove grey by Osborne & Little. It faces the bed and makes me happy when I wake up to it every morning. Trends come and go. I would go with what makes YOU happy. I'm still wearing skinny jeans, now considered passé, as I think mum jeans are a crime against fashion

The wall behind my bed is papered with a 'dramatic' Osborne & Little print that was (a) too expensive and (b) too insane to cover more than that small space. I really like it, and I used the offcuts to paper inside my fitted wardrobe for a bit of a surprise. The rest of the colour scheme hangs on the most neutral colour in the pattern, though.

Love the fronds @SomethingNastyInTheBallPool

Hmm, wish you hadn't mentioned Osborne and Little @HowToBringABlushToTheSnow and @commatose just when I thought I'd go with an Emma J Shipley!

May have to post my shortlist, as I can't narrow it down.
