Stupid question time... grilling

It's a BEKO oven, I'm grilling a chicken breast. The oven door should be left open... right?! Old oven built in here when I bought the house no instructions...

Door open. Most grills will switch off if you shut the door (or mine does).

Um, just to be awkard, our grill has strict instructions to use with the door closed (not Beko though). I think you need to google for the oven manual to be sure! I found a manual for one Beko model and it said to keep the oven door closed

Mine needs to be open I think... I did put the CM alarm in the kitchen just in case!!
