Anyone in Group 1-9 awaiting 2nd jab

If your 2nd appointment was already booked for the next few weeks before Boris announced he wanted the gap to be reduced to 8 weeks, have you heard anything from the NHS yet about an earlier appointment?

No, mine is booked for next week and I haven't heard anything about it being moved any earlier. I had the first one 10 weeks ago now.

Mine is booked for June 5th and I'm 9 weeks post 1st jab. I wonder if I'll actually get it any earlier.

I'm in group 6. My G.P. surgery arranged both my appointments; 1st was at the beginning of March, 2nd was at the beginning of May, exactly 9 weeks apart.

I'm group 6, I was booked for 2nd on 1st June, which would have been 12 weeks. I've not heard from my GP but cancelled and rebooked on the national booking website yesterday and have brought it forward to tomorrow (10 weeks).

I’m group 6, first jab 4th March, 2nd was booked for end of next week but got a text last week and had it yesterday

i got a text, but left it where it is, its only 2 weeks to go.

I've not had anything advising me to book earlier. Currently booked for 19th June for second jab. Not a problem, I can wait.

Dh got a text but there is no way (internet or 119) to check whether there is any earlier appointments available. So he left his in 2 weeks. So unless you are very flexible with where and when you can go it’s pointless.

I got a text today to book my second jab (group 9, AZ). I will be 10 weeks by then which is next Friday. I'm only getting it a week earlier than I would have but it all helps.
