TV Outside

What's the views on TVs outside? Our neighbours are planning on putting one outside and I'm dreading it. We already get their pizza oven smoke wafting into our garden so we cant have our windows open when they use it, or sit outside.

Massive no from me, hugely antisocial, unless you live in the centre of a massive plot!

We live on a new build estate with smallish Gardens.

If you live in a normal street, without masses of land around you then it's a no. Why do they need a tv in the garden?! Seems mad to me.

We are on good terms with them but I think this could impact that.

I think that’s hugely antisocial. Sometimes my DPs friends will come over and they put the football on a laptop in the garden. Even that makes me anxious that we’re upsetting the neighbours!

Also how does that even work? Surely the sun will reflect on it and make it difficult to see the screen?

Next time they bring it up, could you subtly ask whether it comes with Bluetooth headphones so they hopefully twig they need to be considerate with it?

Putting it under a permanent gazebo they are building.

Just wondering how we can reduce the impact. We only have a 4 foot fence and a few shrubs growing up. Maybe we could change it to 6 foot.

Why can't people just sit in the garden and listen to the birds?!

I really do think things should be banned now that we are more packed in.
