Wondering if anyone has any advice- I'm on the cusp of booking a docs appointment but I'm very conscious of the pressures on the system currently and don't want to be a pain.
Anyway, I'm 45 and I'm experiencing really bad hip pain. Always on the left side and much worse in the evening/at night- though increasingly it's bad during the day too. It hurts when I lie down on either side, when I stand up out of a chair, when I bend over to pick something up and sometimes just when I'm simply walking along. The pain is completely debilitating- when it strikes I can't move until it eases a bit. It's a sharp, intense pain.
I've googled and bursitis looks likely- although I'm not sporty at all! I am on my feet a lot at work.
Any advice, suggestions or experience of similar things welcome. I've been grinning and bearing it so far but I don't think I can for much longer.
