Feelings and smells from my childhood

I was going about my morning as I usually do an out of no where I was smacked with something like a flashback but it wasn't a flashback. It was more of a particular type of feeling from my childhood. Then after that a while later I was smacked with a particular type of smell that was also from my childhood. It was of a basket that stored lego. It had its own type of smell. I got that smell out of no where.

It was all a little bit strange. Does anyone of experience of things like this? Getting feelings or smells from childhood. Nothing bad by the way.

•The smell of a warm public hall reminds me of my primary school hall when the sun was pouring in through the large windows.
• Also the smell of grass in the summer - being out in the school field making daisy chains.
• The smell of coal - my childhood home which had a coal fire.
