My useless GP surgery is at it again
I have downloaded the NHS app we've all been told to have to show our vaccines have been done etc.
Only issue is, it doesn't just want my NHS number which I had given it.
It wants either photo ID (which having never been abroad and having never driven I don't have), my online NHS GP access login (which I have asked repeatedly for for 4 years and told "they sent it to all patients including us 4" (they didn't), or it said you could have a code from your GP
So, DP has a GP appointment today and I popped in to ask
Desk Dragon denied all knowledge. I tried to show her the app, she refused to look due to Covid (when is that not going to be an excuse for everything?)
She said they aren't responsible. If I want proof of my vaccine I call 119 who will send a letter. I pointed out the government said we should all use and download this app for our vaccines passports. I said this.
She said, well why don't you have ID? Are you here illegally? I cannot tell you how ridiculous that is, I'm very obviously not someone who would be here illegally, I could not look more pale and English if I tried.
I told her I don't have access to the online hub for the surgery as we were never sent the code to which she said well we aren't using them currently anyway.
I don't know what to do next? The GP Desk Dragons here are constant sources of nuisance as it is, I have to beg, plead and then speak to a practice manager to get anything done.
Has anyone else got this magical code elsewhere?
