Jealousy - 9 year old boy

Hi, does anyone have a 9 year old going through the same? My son has had a best friend for around 6 years now. If his friend plays with anyone else, or anyone else joins in, he gets very jealous. He will come round eventually but has a good moan first. Is this normal for his age?

I think it's normal for some. It's to be heavily discouraged though. In two years they will be in high school and that sort of thing won't fly then.

Encourage him to play with others. The other boy may get tired of your son and dump him...and your son will have nobody.
