Has anyone applied for a passport online recently?
How long are they taking? I know it says allow 10 weeks but I wondered if anyone got one quicker?

I have filled in my online application today and I'm just waiting for my ID to be confirmed.

I think it depends if it's a renewal or a first passport?

I renewed mine recently and it was very quick, about 2 or 3 weeks.

I just received mine, it took 5 days. My DS’s a couple of weeks ago took 6 days.

I did mine and DD’s passport renewals last month. Both arrived in less than a week.

Mine is to replace a lost passport.

I need it for a housing application and my application will get cancelled if it takes too long.

I renewed mine and changed my surname, so sent my marriage license etc.

Sent the application at the end of April and got my new passport within 2 weeks. Really impressed.

A little over a week including bank holiday weekend.

I got my new one last week and from completing the form online to actually receiving the new one was within a week, I couldn't believe it!

I applied for my passport renewal 18/05/2021 is over 2 week not yet received it. Any time I make a phone call is with the examiner is almost going to 3 weeks now.

Has anyone experienced passport renewal taking over 3 weeks or more.

Mine was quick asides from the part where they couriered it to the completely wrong address.

Mine took less than a week but that was earlier in the year (when I actually believed i might get to go abroad!).
