Best & easiest fake tan please

I used to use Johnson's holiday skin which was perfect for me but can't buy it anywhere now.

I've just tried garnier gradual tan but have ended up with orange ankles and knees which isn't the look I was going for.

I need an easy and quick to apply fake tan please?

I like the SkinnyTan gradual tanner. It's easy to apply, sinks in quickly/isn't sticky, smells nice and builds a really natural looking colour. I'm paler than pale and other brands I've tried just look ridiculous on me!

I'll have a look at that one. Garnier had good reviews but god knows why as I look ridiculous. I'm going swimming shortly with white legs and orange knees 🙀

The dice mousse is good but get the dark if you want any colour as the light takes ages to build up

Clarins tanning drops - you add them to your own moisturiser, and add as many as you like to get the shade you want. You can use the body ones on your face, they are identical!

I never got on with any gradual tanner - they always made me orange and patchy too.

Bondi Sands is the best I've found and I've tried a lot. They do a gradual tan that's streak free and smells lovely too.
I got given a skinny tan set for Xmas. It was streak free but found the colour a bit artificial looking.

Clarinet drops are fantastic for a subtle tan and you can put as little or as much as you like in the moisturiser you use.

Crabbyboot · 17/05/2021 11:44

Supposed to say Clarins!

I love Dove Derma spa in medium dark (the lighter one gives barely any tan at all and im pale!) It goes on so evenly and is fool proof. No issues with staining sheets or towels.
Definitely exfoliate first, focusing particularly on elbows as they can end up stained very dark after a few days of applying (in my case anyway).

Actually if its the J&J holiday skin you liked this is a really good alternative and cheap in places like home bargains

Ihopeyourcakeisshit · 17/05/2021 13:10

How many drops of the Clarins do you add to the moisturiser?

britespark1 · 17/05/2021 20:49

How do people mix the drops in with their moisturiser please? I’m never sure of the best way to do it!

Crabbyboot · 17/05/2021 21:58

@Ihopeyourcakeisshit I mix around six drops for my face and it builds up to a nice colour over a couple of days. I am fair to medium skin with yellow undertones.

@britespark1 put the moisturiser in my palm and then drop the tan in mix with my fingers & wash hands after (I have learnt to remember that the hard way)!

Tan luxe serum is my current favorite, they do a face and body version. I find it evens out my skin tone really nicely.

I also second the clarins facial drops not tried the body.
