Cramp in back passage!

Argh, I woke up at 5am with something that feels like cramp inside my anus 😳
I've had it once or twice previously, but they were after I'd climaxed so it seemed to be related to that.
Any tips for easing it off, especially for if it ever happens again? It's really unpleasant and there's no chance of falling back asleep while it continues. I'm doing pelvic floor exercises just now, to try to relax the muscles again. Too many people are asleep for me to get up and run a bath.

Thanks 😖

It's called javelin arse. There's been a thread on it recently if you search. You can try a tennis ball or something similar to sit on to ease it.

Buscopan helps mine massively. I get this pain when I'm due on my period or on the first day and need to poop. I have endometriosis and do wonder if I have it on my bowel but my GP said my rectum is in spasm too. I've found breathing through the pain helps as the instinct is to tense against the pain. It's horrific, you have my sympathies.

I get javelin arse when on my period too. Have no idea what helps with it but you have my sympathy as I know how much it bloody hurts

Javelin arse 😲😲
Who knew?
Wow, I'll go and have a Google. I've had a hysterectomy, so don't have periods 😕
