Returned clothes but not been refunded. Where do I stand?

I returned some items to house fo Fraser via Hermes which I had to pay for. Hermes tracking shows it's been delivered however house of Fraser just keep telling me that it's 'not been scanned'!!!
They have said that I need to raise a dispute with Hermes as they haven't received it but as far as me and Hermes are concerned it HAS been delivered.

House of Fraser have been so rude to me and are refusing to speak to me via email again as they say the case is closed because they can't find my parcel!!!

Where do I stand? I returned £300 worth of items so need my refund but they won't issue it ☹️🤯

Wait... HoF are saying it can never be delivered?

how long ago says Hermes it was delivered?

I was going to Bet it's slow due to.... covid, social distancing among staff, or even a policy to quarantine returned goods > 3days.

Tweet the story out, OP. Carefully describe the whole story in tweet(s) & tag everyone involved.

If you ordered it by credit card, get them involved too

hogu · 16/05/2021 20:32

It's been delivered but HoF are saying they can't find it so it's my responsibility. It's beyond frustrating and annoying!

Contact your credit card and raise a dispute with them. Keep all emails texts whatever. Pester them. I had same with Esprit. It took 3 weeks but they did refund me.

LawnFever · 16/05/2021 20:33

I would tweet them about it, that’s shocking - if it’s showing as delivered they need to refund your money

You can get a chargeback to your credit card-just supply evidence of the return.
