I’m after a new car - not for a while yet, but I’ve been browsing.
Current car is petrol. Since I last looked the market has changed, as what I’m now looking at has lots of electric / hybrid / ’mild hybrid’ options.
I’m all for green energy, but it seems quite expensive, not only the cars themselves, but also we’d need a car charge point at the house and that would be expensive and a bit disruptive I guess to put in?
I tend to just potter locally but do a couple of big trips per year, say one to Scotland and one to Cornwall (we live in NW England). I would be concerned about having to charge en route.
So please reassure me / guide me on this! I currently have a Ford Kuga and like it well enough - it’s not amazing, but it’s got enough space.
Any advice or recommendations welcome!
