Facebook group/banned?

I'm a member of a private Facebook group. A few days ago I tried to post but eventually I got a notification saying - your post was declined. I didn't think anything else of it until today. I tried to go into the group but I wasn't allowed in. I got a message saying - the link you followed may be broken.

I was always very respectful in the group. So I don't know why. The group has some sort of a rule saying - females only - and I am a female. Maybe it means you can't write about a male or something.

Does that mean I am banned from the group? Is there any way to gain access to the group to del3some old posts?

It could be a Facebook glitch, or you could have been removed. Can you still see the group listed in your groups?

There’s no way back to delete old posts if you’ve been removed, but there’s a good chance the admin will have removed them automatically if they’ve banned you, it’s an option when you ban someone. You could message them and ask them to remove your old posts too, although you’d have no way of knowing if they had.

There is supposed to be more controls for group posts on the way, but I don’t know if they’ll include groups that you’re no longer in, and I don’t know when they’ll actually be released.

It’s unusual to get banned for one rejected post, though. I mean, anyone can admin a group and some people are power crazy, but most groups want members, if they’re not breaking the rules!

Can you contact the admin to find out what happened? Presumably you had to send a request to join. Are still able to do that? That would suggest you may have been accidentally booted out, but haven't been blocked.

They have a female only rule. I never realised you weren't allowed to talk about a male. That's my only thinking why my post was declined. I didn't think anything else of it. Now I can't access the group. There must be some sort of a power or control thing with the admins.

I'm not able to see the group under the list of groups I am in. I'm able to search for the group and read the front page of the group but that's it. When I click it, I am taken to a different page that says something with a broken link. So I don't have the option of pressing join.

I can't remember the admins so I am not able to send a message to an admin.
