Can my neighbours hear my white noise machine?

NDN's love playing loud music (particularly the teenage son) - won't go into detail but after a bit of a confrontation with them earlier this year we are on 'good' terms and while the situation has improved I still struggle when they do play their music.

To help myself cope I have started putting 'white noise' on my alexa to mask the sound of their music, sometimes just enough to cover it a bit and other times I must admit I do whack it right up as it makes me feel better!

I just wondered if you have ever heard 'white noise' music/sounds coming from your neighbours? My DH always says there is no way they can hear it as it's an ambient kind of sound but I just wondered!

Can't help with your question but I'll bump this post to state that I never knew this was a feature and now I know what to do next time DH is being obnoxiously loud on a Teams call in the next room

It is a real life saver! "Alexa, play white noise" is said more in our house than anything else I think

I need to try this out - we use a white noise machine for my daughters hyperacusis. This may be better!
