I need to report a change of hourly rate and contracted hours for dh some with shift allowance some not and I'm not sure how to report it as the system doesn't seem to allow for a shift allowance. I have left 3 notes in the journal over the last few weeks asking how to report this and nobody has got back to me. I was thinking should I add the total weekly pay together then divide by the number of hours and put the hourly rate down as the average?
For example £12×39=468
£16×9=£144
£468+£144=£612
£612÷48hours=average of £12.75 per hour?

The figures and hours I used are the correct figures, or do I report annual income of £31,824?

Not am expert but is he employed PAYE as there will be an auto deed from HmRC for his wages paid. You can still add notes in the journal if you need to. Otherwise, if self employed you report his actual 'takings' and expenses I believe. Hopefully somebody can confirm.

I don't think you need to report annual income for UC. Its based on what is earned during the assessment period

Yes PAYE but he has changed job so I need to to report the change as it's part of the agreement. The form asks the number of hours and hourly rate so not sure how to report this accurately.

Report it as best you can but the change of circs you are doing should get a real time feed set up to show what he has been paid.
