Any recommendations for a damp afternoon?

I have Disney+ but haven’t used it for ages.

Last thing I watched was ‘Into The Woods’.

Watched Cool Runnings with my DS a few weeks ago, all enjoyed it.

Any of the Marvel movies? Captain Marvel is really good, so is AntMan.

Mighty ducks

Thor Ragnarok, we all watched it for the second time last night. It's very good and funny too.

Thanks all. Lots for me to add to my list.

I started watching the new Black Beauty before I got the replies.

Office Space is on there if you’re after a more not-for-kids option! I love it. Idiocracy also quite funny.

There's a lot of older stuff on there that's really good - I rewatched Ladyhawke the other night. Retro 80s fantasy, what's not to like? Also young Rutger Hauer.

Togo. It’s based on the true story of the 1925 Nome serum run. You’ve probably heard of Balto, this is the story of one of the other sled dogs involved. Fair warning, it made me cry!

The new Aladdin film is quite good, Jasmine has more to do which pleases my feminist side.

Hated the new Black Beauty. It plays like someone started to write a horse film and their boss wandered in and made them base it on Black Beauty. It could have been really good but the awful way they’ve tried to cram the story into a modern setting just ruins it

Alexander and the Terrible, No Good Bad Day.

Good all round family film!

CarrotCakeMuffins · 16/05/2021 17:37

DD and I have been working through the Marvel films in release order. They are all very good, but Thor Ragnarok (mentioned above) is surprisingly funny as well.
