My partner gets bad treacle sickness especially on trains. Tomorrow we're going on the train as we previously were going to use a car but now we can't. Apparently he's tried tablets etc in the past but they didnt work.

Does anyone have any tips?

I find sucking boiled sweets can help sometimes. Also anti sickness wrist bands. I get travel sickness too, coaches are the worst thing for me so can sympathise. If all else fails sleeping for the entire journey can work if he can get comfortable enough on the train to do so.

I find having an empty stomach makes travel sickness worse so make sure he has a light meal before travelling. Whilst I am fine on a train I find buses, coaches and some cars bad. I cannot read and it is better to face forward and, if nausea starts, shut my eyes. Being too hot is a trigger so open windows if you can and wear layers so you can take some off.
