Things to do in Somerset

What would you recommend to do with a 3 year old near Yeovil? I'm visiting my nan in a fortnight and wanted some ideas of nices places to visit (with or without nan) and places to shelter from the rain!

Longleat Safari Park. It’s better in good weather of course, but you can drive around in your car as many times as you like until the rain stops! The miniature railway and jungle cruise are also doable if it’s only light rain.
The steam railway at Yeovil Railway Centre is good if your 3yo likes trains, and you‘ll be sheltered.
The play area at Yeovil Recreation Ground is amazing.
The Hunters Lodge Inn is a very family-orientated pub with a playground and petting zoo!
