Things to do in West Midlands

So we're taking the grandma away for a couple of days at the end of the month, over the bank holiday.

We've booked a caravan in the West Midlands with the idea of going on the Severn valley railway as she loves that kind of thing but the plans have just fallen apart as I've seen that there's a set timetable on the train with a 3+ hr gap where you have free time to explore one of the stations. The problem is that she's waiting for a knee replacement so can't walk very far and a wheelchair just isn't an option so the 3 hours will be hard to fill.

Can't do the safari park as the dc love it there and will want to do the theme park bit but again that'll be too much walking.

Anyone have any idea of an activity we can do or a place we can go where's there's not much walking and will entertain an age range between 5 and 80?! They're pretty easy to please and we don't mind travelling in the car a fair distance.

Help!!

Where in the midlands? The black country living museum is great for all ages , as is the sea life centre in birmingham .
