Cards not working.

Me too. Just had to copper up in the supermarket. I was 12p short but they let me off. They said it's been a problem all morning.

Mine card worked fine in the chip and pin machine about an hour ago.

Glad I saw this as I'm in town queueing to pay for stuff! I can't access the app either.

They said they were doing maintenance, but that was online only and overnight.

Yes - definitely an issue, bank wide by the looks of things.

Just been on R4. Santander saying it might be down until Monday.

Thanks for the thread @TinyDicksAndGlitter. I planned to take the boys out later. Luckily I took some cash out last night that should last until Monday.

We've got a bit of emergency cash in the house (for situations like this). So I can put a bit of petrol in and buy some food but not enough to last the week.

I've just read that you can use your card to draw out cash at a post office counter, if that helps anyone.
