What do you keep handy for snacking?

I'm generally a fairly healthy eater, my meals are fine. I don't need to lose weight, I do a lot of exercise so need fuel, more than 2000 calories a day, which includes snacks.

I want healthy, as in good quality nutrition, not low calorie, but I find I have the same things all the time, basically cheese, plain Greek yogurt (sometimes with fruit) and nuts.

It needs to be things that don't need any prep. Don't say carrot sticks or fruit, nowhere near satisfying enough Grin

What about making a fritata that you can just slice up and keepin the fridge. Loads of protein.
Dry roasted chickpeas are nice.
Oven baked falafel. (Batch cook loads and freeze)
All need some prep in advance but worth a little bit of effort to have things on hand that you can just grab as needed.

Have a look at the protein balls on the deliciously Ella website, I make a batch up, they last in the fridge for a good week

Waitrose basics range tinned black olives- I could eat them every day!

The little deli snacks from M&S, especially the red harissa chicken pastries. Waitrose has just launches a new Levantine range which is fun too. Basically anything you would take on a picnic.
