Adult Socks by size? Or softer more stretchy?

So not quite needing diabetic socks, my generic supermarket socks are too tight. Where can I buy socks by size or that are a bit softer and stretchy? It’s the front of the ankle when I flex my foot that digs in

I'm a size 7 and often socks shrink after a few washes. Maybe try men's socks?

I'm a size 7 and have wide feet. I always buy mens socks as I find ladies ones too small.

I have some socks from Sports Direct, bought for the teenager when he was still a size 6

This says size 1-6, but I struggle to see how someone in size 1 could wear them Grin
