Lateness

Honestly, I dont think there is anything more rude than being late. It is a constant. My friend is constantly late, at least 45 minutes every.single.time! I could scream....

I have become more forgiving of lateness recently. I don't have any friends who are late because they just don't think my time is valuable/don't give a shit (in that case, they are not my friend). I do have friends who are late often because they have genuine time management issues that they find distressing themselves. Since reading up about this a bit more, and finding that it can be linked to trauma among other things, I have stopped getting on people's cases about it. They genuinely are doing their best and do value me as a friend.

I just make sure that any arrangements aren't going to be buggered by them not turning up on time or leave me hanging around on my own somewhere boring. Like, I meet them at their house and we go from there, or I'm at a nice cafe with a book.
