Manners: what new ones should become standard?

Inspired by the other thread on existing manners, what new manners should become absolutely standard?

Removing AirPods when speaking to someone. I have a colleague who leaves them in all day and she can’t hear a word you say and as a result shouts back at you. A few weeks ago I saw a couple at the next table in a nice restaurant and one kept his in for the whole meal and I really felt sorry for the other.

Asking people if they mine before you post a photo or status update which includes them on social media.

Some of that thread was just Confused Posters droning on about all the old fashioned stuff and how very important it is when I sincerely doubt they’ve actually ever been asked “how do you do?” by anyone in their lives, and are kidding themselves if they think the staff at the Hawksmoor give a fuck what they do with the napkin when they’re finished with it!

Putting yourself on mute on Teams/Zooms/other conferencing if you are not actually speaking. It's very difficult for a speaker to continue with random background noises filtering through, and even sometimes people having a coughing fit.

Using a headset for Zoom calls in the office so that the rest of us can hear only your side of the conversation, like a phonecall, rather than having the whole thing on speaker while we try to do our own work.
Not having any 1-1 calls on speaker if someone else is in the office with you, unless they need to hear too.

Using headphones or muting phone if playing a game in a public place.

(I once spent a 3 hour train journey with some woman behind me playing a game on her phone and the repetitive noises nearly drove me mad).
