Does anyone know if the family box is just double the 2 person box?

Looking at ordering and just wondering if it’ll be enough food for DH, me and the two DDs or if I need to do double the 2 person meals.

The two person boxes are generous portions so I imagine the family ones are too? Do you have the 60% off referral code?

The portions sizes are good but you’ll need a 4 person box for 4 people.

That’s good to know. We have older teen Dds but the family box says it feeds 2-3 children

Someone else asked this question a few days ago and the answer was yes, the family box is just double everything. So if the two person meal includes one chicken breast and a bag of stir fry veg, the family box is 2 chicken breasts and two bags of stir fry veg.

It works out quite a bit cheaper per portion too. Obviously because it's 'free' delivery so you have to account for that.

Yes, it's essentially just a scaled up recipe for 4 portions.

I use Gousto occasionally, but have never heard of a Family Box. Is this a new thing? Are they the same recipes?

Not sure when they introduced them but it’s a choice of 2 person or family which as others have confirmed is 4 people.

So same recipes yes

Oh no that’s terrible! Hope you contacted them for a decent credit? We once had a very limp, end of its natural life spring onion. It wasn’t life or death for the recipe and I found it amusing more than anything else, but I did the live chat thing and they gave us £3 credit. For a spring onion!
