Morning all! What's everyone up to today?

I'm just having my usual cuppa, unfortunately it's not going to be silent for much longer though since I can hear dd2 moving about upstairs.

We're off to town shortly ish - I'll wake dd1 to come with us. Both girls need pants, so we'll have a wander in Primark. And I'd like to nip into the yarn shop in the market place for some cotton to make some flowers.

When we get home they'll probably disappear with whatever sweets they pick in Home Bargains (always get some sort of sweets in there) & Minecraft for the rest of the day.

Take-away for tea tonight. Possibly Chinese, accompanied by a couple of glasses of a red wine my friend's dh has given me.

Once I sit down, I'll do a bit more of my current crochet project in front of whatever's on the tv.

Not much. Dds are off to a theme park with friends, ds and I will try and go for a walk/to the park or something. We might make a cake when we get back. Dh is working.
We are making a Mexican feast for dinner.
No booze for me as I’m going for a run tomorrow morning.
Washing and housework is done, I’ve finished all the work I need to get done. I’ll definitely have time to sit and read my book for a bit.

It’s my birthday. I wanted to go to the pub for lunch and a glass of wine but as it’s chucking it down that won’t be happening.

I’m about to do a zoom chat with friends in Australia. I’ve had a cuppa and some toast. DH has just given me my birthday present - two cookbooks. I am a bit obsessed with cookbooks. These ones are Middle Eastern food.

DH is cooking steak tonight for dinner and I bought a frozen Black Forest gateau for after. It’s will probably not be great but we always had Black Forest gateau for birthdays as kids and I just craved one and couldn’t be bothered making one.

Lazy day planned otherwise.

All I really want is some sunshine!

Just did a body project workout with DH
Shower, go and do the food shop
Drop MIL shopping off
Smear test booked for 12.30
Nothing planned for the rest of the day

I can see outside the window, it looks rather dull outside. Guess I will not be doing any weeding today. Instead I will play with Milo.

Trying to entertain a four year old in the rain - waaaaaahhhhh

Chilli for tea, need to nip to the supermarket. Nothing else planned.

Lying next to baby, trying not to wake him, wondering if can sneak off for coffee or shower, ha!

Later might go shopping then something simple like Bolognese for dinner.

Was going to go for a big walk involving maps but weather is awful so shelving that for walking the dog round to a friend’s for coffee. Am never v good with maps anyway.
Then lots I should be doing - cleaning, workout, decorating, gardening - but have had a tough week with work and arsehole xp so not feeling very motivated.
Might go shopping for birthdays coming up, then a nice tea and film with DC.
Agree it would be much better with sunshine.

Happy birthday @Peridot1, I have fingers crossed for some sunshine for later too.

DH is away on deployment so it's just the three of us at home for today.
Everyone's had breakfast and the kids are watching the Incredibles while I have a second cup of coffee.

We're heading up to the zoo this morning in the drizzle for a few hours and then home to make cupcakes for their gran's birthday tomorrow.

We have pizza for tea as a treat and probably another film, then hopefully an early night!

Have walked to dogs and tidied up already this morning.
Dh and Ds off to play hockey. Dd2 is going to gym.
Dd1 has an athletics competition so I will be sitting in the rain watching that.
Tonight we will sit and watch a film.

A bit like you op. Mine love a bit of Minecraft on a Saturday afternoon. They have activities this morning so I get a bit of peace as dh takes them.

I have to go to the jeweller as a stone came out of my ring. Its replaced.
Movie and wine tonight.

Once I’ve finished my coffee I’ll go for a run then shower and do the food shop .
I’ve loads of washing to do etc too .
Not very exciting but I’ll look forward to my wine tonight and a film .

Just drinking my second cup of tea and preparing for various trips to and from dancing with the DDs.

It's drizzling here with rain forecast on and off all day, so my plans to potter round in the garden have been put to bed. Will take the dog out for a walk and then do some ironing instead.

Making a coconutty fish curry for tea later.

DS1 is currently doing some homework and DH is in the cross trainer. I’m about to start some ironing.

We are going out for lunch today, so will head off around 11.30. If it’s nice afterwards (which I doubt), we’ll drive on to the coast for a little wander.

I think the kids will probably watch TV, play Minecraft etc when we get home, and I may do some sewing, before we have hotdogs for tea. The kids are really tired, so hopefully they’ll head to bed relatively early and we’ll chill out with a film.

Nothing much planned, hoping my 1 year old who has been up since 4.50am nods off soon as my 2 year old had another awful night and fell asleep just gone 3am, so a lazy day involving lots of coffee! Maybe a walk if it's dry enough. Hoping my eldest (21) offers to cook tea, right now I'd be happy with beans on toast!

Chilling out today mostly. Taking dd shopping in the city this morning - its her dad's weekend but she needs some mummy time I think - then back for some housework and might read for a bit. It's so cold! TV tonight I expect. I always think there are loads of things I could do with my child free weekends, but then I can't really be arsed to do any of it when it comes down to it!

Grey and rainy outside here. Dd's currently watching Saturday morning TV, we will go for a walk/scoot before lunch for a bit of exercise and fresh air.
Dp cooking a roast dinner. I'm doing a lego project this afternoon with Dd's, we've pulled some old Harry Potter lego out of the loft and have the great hall left to build hopefully we can get it built today. This evening I will be doing some coursework.

Just finished my second coffee hiding upstairs in bed. DH is getting his jab, DC are watching television, MIL is probably watching the children watch television.

Dunno what to do today, I’m pretty demotivated. In theory the allotment, or gardening here, or some of the many cleaning jobs that need doing, but in reality meh.

I have come on here for some ideas. I do not know what do with my kids age 10 and 12 this weekend. The one sports club was cancelled cos of rain. They moan if I ask them to come on a walk, moan if suggest a play in the park, will refuse to bake or anything. I am not looking forward to the weekend and my anxiety around it all turning to shit is going a little crazy.

I'm currently sitting on my bed, scrolling on my iPad and trying to decide what to do today. The weather doesn't look great so I think I'll head out soon with the dog, hopefully before it rains. This afternoon I'll probably go to the gym and for a swim. Need to go food shopping as well, but not sure if I can face it today!
