West End musical recommendation

Which musical would you see with DD14? Dear Evan Hansen or Everybody's Talking about Jamie? We like the look of both of them for a first post-Covid theatre trip.

Both absolutely great shows, have seen both with my musical theatre obsessed Dd18.

Dear Evan Hansen would tip it for me if I had to choose, amazing score beautifully performed.

Jamie is much more of a feel good show though. Depends if you want to leave feeling moved or uplifted?

PS we have book Heathers the Musical as our first post Covid theatre trip. DD18 has already seen it twice and it is an amazing show. There is a 12 week only run being put on this summer at the Theatre Royal Haymarket from 12th June.

Thanks both. We saw Joseph in 2019. I know it's sacrilege to say so but I'm not a massive fan of Heathers the film so not sure about the musical.

I like both after watching both on YouTube. If I wanted to leave feeling happy I would choose something about Jamie but I think the songs in Desr Evan Hansen are better.

Both are great. I would personally choose Dear Evan Hansen out of the two but would probably choose Heathers if you are adding that to the mix as well.

All three very good choices for a teen. DD is 16 and loves all 3.

Yes Six is great too. Why not do a two show day and watch a matinee and then an evening show.

I think Everyone's talking about jamie is overrated.

Not seen Dear Evan Hansen yet (rescheduled due to covid).

Heathers was fun. Is it still on?

Six gets great reviews it's on my list!

@Acovic heathers is going back into the west end at the haymarket again for a limited run this summer (different cast) it's also going on tour this year (with a separate cast)
