Gift for child to mark a personal achievement

My DD is about to complete a piece of work that she has done with a therapist and I would like to get her a gift, something meaningful that she can keep to mark her bravery. It may be something that she can keep until she is older to look back on this period of her life and what she achieved. Any ideas? I thought maybe a charm bracelet with something to symbolise how brave she was, a print for her bedroom related to bravery / courage, a book that we could write something in.

Any ideas or has anyone done anything similar? She is 9

I think a pendant would be lovely. And then she can put it on a different chain when she's older (adult necks being bigger than 9 year old ones).

It's a really lovely idea Smile

There are some lovely positive pins out there with great messages. Has she already got The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse book? It would be one to keep for years and you could write a lovely message on the inside

Have a look on Etsy for pendants - you could go for a lion or something made from tigers eye to symbolise bravery (the heart of a lion), or an acorn/oak tree or whatever symbolises her achievement to you.

Good point about chain lengths but if you buy from a jewellery maker, they can usually put an extra fastening loop on a chain so it’s adjustable to fit a child and then later an adult

Lovely idea btw
