Joint bank accounts and bad credit rating

I wonder if anyone could offer advice on this. I'm doing some work for a friend which involves promoting/selling and managing the sale of her art from her website. As well as paying me a small hourly rate, I get commission on sales.
She wants us to have a joint bank account and has asked me to sort it out (I do a lot of her admin as part of the job).
However, I'm worried as I have a bad credit rating and wonder if this will affect her. She is very solvent, owns house outright and has thousands in the bank and I'm not sure she will ever need a loan as she pays upfront for everything.
If it would affect her badly, can anyone think of another way around it. She wants me to manage money from sales and split it between us so that she doesn't have to do that. The money comes in via PayPal and Stripe.
I haven't told her about my bad credit...
Any advice? It won't be a business account, just a standard one.
