Hi, I’m 24 and earn ~£30k. I take home just under £2k a month after student loan deductions, tax & NI. I want to rent alone - what should my budget be?
I have spent the last 5.5 years renting in London with friends so haven’t saved enough for a house deposit.
Saving is generally slow actually. I know I could save more living w someone else. However most of my friends are leaving London and it’s too early to ask my BF to move in. I want my own space after years of sharing so wouldn’t consider living with a random person either.
