I've just booked to pay £45 for a "cut and finish" does that include wash? who knows. It was their only cut option. Small business supporting sustainability.

Yes - that would include a wash then finished with blow dry/tongs/straighteners.

I’m North London and pay £150 for roots, toner, olaplex, cut and blow dry

Dd pays £45 for cut and blow dry

Ds is £12 at a barbers

Dh is £25 for hair and beard and a steam towel thing that looks amazing. His skins looks amazing afterwards and I’m jealous.

Devlesko · 13/05/2021 16:21

Just paid £40 today, wouldn't pay anymore, tbh.
I think that's expensive but it's how much they all charge round here.

CaptainMyCaptain · 13/05/2021 16:21

purplecorkheart · 13/05/2021 17:30

€60 euros in a home based salon for a cut, all over colour and blowdry and straightners . Prices have gone up slightly due Covid and the owner being unable to do a cut or blowdry while your colour is developing
.

I colour and treat my own hair but I can't cut it myself so I go to a local hair dressers here in south west London. I pay £25 for a wet cut!

I'm tight and much prefer doing all the expensive time consuming stuff myself.

You're paying for the time in the chair when you pay at the hairdressers. Hence highlights are expensive, not because you're paying for someone's skill as much as you're paying for sitting in the chair for ages

cariadlet · 13/05/2021 17:38

I pay £25 for a cut. I just have a quick trim. East Sussex.

Ingridla · 13/05/2021 17:45

I go about once a year as it's 50 quid minimum in London so I just trim it myself, it's long and layered if that helps.

36degrees · 13/05/2021 19:13

£140 colour, cut and blow dry. Glasgow.

Hettylala · 13/05/2021 20:02

I paid £95 for a cut, highlights and blow dry last week. I usually just have a dry cut which is £28 but I fancied a post-lockdown treat so splashed out. I'm in Cornwall.

willowstar · 13/05/2021 22:25

Cheesypea · 13/05/2021 22:33

Paid £40. I'm annoyed because my usual hairdresser isnt local , she was £25. I'm always charged more because I have thick hair.

BloodyGoodRep · 13/05/2021 22:50

£45 for a full head of colour, cut and blow dry. Next time I go I’m going to have the olaplex (sp?) as well which is an extra £15

BloodyGoodRep · 13/05/2021 22:50

Oh and I’m in Staffordshire

Trappedonanisland · 13/05/2021 23:16

£24 for wash, cut & blowdry at no frills hairdresser in Portsmouth . The young lassie is fantastic and will do exactly what you ask for and I feel relaxed with her .(I am terrified of getting my hair cit due to past disasters ). Costs twice as much in some of the Southsea places and they were crap !
