Longleat

Hello, we are taking our children to Longleat for the day but would like to make a fees days away out of it. Could anyone recommend somewhere to base ourselves within an hour or so of Longleat which has fun things to explore for a few days? Thanks

Why don’t you base in Bath, you can then do Roman baths, longleat is a good day trip, you can also easily get to Bristol where there are things like the wave, inland surfing

Colerne - lucknam Park
Or longleat centre parks.
Check your tesco club card vouchers - you can use these on longleat tickets.

A cracking few days out Longleat......take swimmers and towels....if you are lucky with the weather there is a fun water park.

Centerparcs is next door? Otherwise I'd say Bath too.

We’ve stayed just outside Warminster and visited Stonehenge and Stourhead.

Stay at Moorleaze Farm cottages. It’s a lovely complex of a handful of cottages with an indoor pool and games room. It’s perfectly situated for visiting Longleat, Bath, etc,. The cottages are well equipped and the owners are lovely.

Thanks all. I'm looking in half term and have left it too late I think. All your suggestions look great but are fully booked. Maybe we'll take the tent instead!

I take it you know you can camp at Longleat?

We are about an hour away near New Forest,. There is Paultons Park theme park, Beaches, Moors Valley Country park, cities such as Southampton, Winchester, Bournemouth.
