Does anyone want a separate "Games" section in 'Fun and Games'?

Already posted in site stuff and yes, it depends on how many would use it. Thanks to @Lilymumsnet. I'll just repost here incase some people miss site stuff. Not sure how many play these games but I think it will really be useful for those of us who do.

My post:
"Hi MNHQ, there's already "Gaming" but it's for video/computer games. I mean a separate board for games threads, like the ones that are currently running on chat. (Three word stories, Change a letter, etc).

Sometimes, all I want is to relax, unwind and just participate in lighthearted games with others online and it can be difficult to wade through different threads in Chat to find one. So is it possible to have a board so we can start these 'Games' threads there and also find them easily?

Failing that, does anyone know a forum like this?

Thanks."

Looking to either drum up support here or get recommendations. Smile Thanks all.

Bumpety-bump

I once looked at Gransnet just out of curiosity and the active threads were very game-heavy. It might just have been that one day, but could be worth a look.

I don't have children but I'm nearly 50 so technically old enough to be a gran Grin

Gransnet has its own games topic!

Shock Just had a look! And it seems busy too! Will have to go there for games if we don't get any here but I think a games section here is a good idea. Even if it's not as busy to start with, it will grow but it needs to be there for it to start growing, iyswim.

Gransnet looks quite good but has the possible disadvantage of not being swearing-friendly Grin. I'm not a huge swearer on MN but it would be awful if joined then forgot which forum I was on and offended the Gransnetters by dropping an f-bomb.

It does look good - have been lurking and still lurkingGrin
