What is your laundry routine?

Was watching something on YT a few days ago, and it got me thinking about how others do their laundry.

Please share if you like!

Do you have a routine? Do you wash certain items on certain days?
Do you sort?
Hot wash or cold?
Line dry or tumble dry?

Do you have a favourite detergent?

I put a load on every evening after tea, then in the dryer or hang on racks when it's done. Put in in a basket in the morning before work, and put away the next day while the bath is running. I don't really separate things, everything we have is ok in together. I hate when it gets piled up, so have to keep on top of it!

I've only been retired since Jan 20, so I still do my laundry on a Sunday morning, as I did when I worked. Separated into whites/lights/darks; whites on a 60 degree wash, others on a 40 degree.There's only 2 of us, so it doesn't take long. Line dry when the weather's good, mixture of tumble and airer otherwise (some stuff tends to shrink in the tumble drier)
