My dad is in hospital, so want to send the nurses some brownies to celebrate nurses day. As apparently their trust doesn't give them cake. (We get a huge cake)

Does it specifically need to be brownies? If not, doughnut time send incredible boxes of doughnuts!

mindutopia · 12/05/2021 10:56

Gimme Brownies is great (but not cheap, depending on how many nurses you have to feed). Are they allowed food from patients?

Essex Bakery, Twisted Treats, Mersea Mudcakes are all amazing!

Sparklingbrook · 12/05/2021 10:58

Another vote for Gower Cottage. Best brownies they had ever tasted according to my quite fussy friend. Grin

If they are anything like my ward. We will scoff the lit and aren't fussy about where it comes from.

Lola's do them. They are a well known London bakery and do great cakes and cupcakes. I haven't had their brownies but they do them by post and if I was ordering that's where I'd order from.

SpongeBobJudgeyPants · 12/05/2021 11:09

I've used this one from Etsy for a couple of people. here

Toddlerteaplease · 12/05/2021 11:13

Doesn't have to be brownies, any other suggestions?

The one I've linked does cookies also, and nutella and oreo brownies too IIRC.

spiderlight · 12/05/2021 11:37

Littlejayx · 12/05/2021 11:37

Brown and blond!!!!

They do the best brownies posted and they are gooey and last 🤤🤤🤤

Toastfiendish · 12/05/2021 11:38

Simply cake co ones are great and actually pretty good value - I received some and have then sent them on to several people, all very satisfied customers. They also do cookies.

MishMashMummy · 12/05/2021 11:40

Holly Bell brownies. I made noises I didn’t know I was capable of the first (and second and third and fourth and fifth...) times I had them. Mesmerisingly delicious.

MishMashMummy · 12/05/2021 11:40

I think the company is actually ‘Mrs Bell’s Brownies’ come to think of it.

HandforthParishCouncilClerk · 12/05/2021 11:41

100% gower cottage

Newnamefor2021 · 12/05/2021 12:25

Another vote for Gower cottage brownies. I heard them recommended on here and they are amazing, sent to my MIL for Mother's Day and she loved them too.

Toddlerteaplease · 12/05/2021 12:28

I think we are going to pick up something locally and deliver them directly. Even though it's a 100 mile round trip for me. Grin(quite inconvenient if my dad to injure himself in a different hospital catchment area!)
