We have loads. They sort of get used but not a great deal.. More like, pull put the box, few presses of button and that's it thrown across floor!
They were dds and now ds has them.
Ranging from beatbo (used loads)
The chunky laptop type things
Spinning tops
You name it.

Ds is 16m and I feel bad if i got rid of a fair amount of it now. But also there's just so much. (12 kallax boxes full)
Plus a play room that has things like duplo, cars, animals puzzles, ikea kitchen, role play area etc

We just have too much but I feel like I'm removing things babies love, despite he rarely uses any of the bulky type toys
He loves little cars etc

Put a handful of them out. See which ones he plays with the longest. Get rid of anything he doesn't touch. Repeat a few times.

Mine are DS20 and DS22. The answer is never because as soon as one toy is gone, a bigger one takes its place...push along toy, then small tricycle, then scooter, bike, bigger bike, motorbike, car...😱😂

PS. DS1 still loves lego btw and DS2 loves movie figurine things!

Around the time I realised my kids weren’t very interested in them. They preferred cars, trains, dolls, duplo, puzzles, stacking cups, carpet fluff...

12 boxes would be a lot if he loved them! I’d reduce it to 1-2 boxes of the most popular ones and get rid of the rest.

Keep the Duplo and cars etc
Mine still play with Duplo at nearly 8 years old (love the lego but the Duplo really makes an impact and great for when younger visitors come over)

The big stuff( that singing t pot thing etc.. Get rid of it now) you will be passing it onto someone in need. I think the toys that do all the singing and dancing for the kids reduces imagination anyway.

Haha true I have a teen too but I can't remeber that far back haha.

I sorted it all into similar toys so laptop, tablet, controller etc in a box

Stacking rings, cups and links

Bulky cars

Beat bo Train and beatbos

Yes definitely keep lego duplo cars etc

In the loft we have 8 bloody 40 litre boxes of lego! Plus 3 under bed boxes of built lego car sets of ds.

I'm just thinking if a lot of his bulky stuff went that's in dining room we could re arrange and get rid of a unit for more floor space for when they don't want to play in playroom. (conservatory which can get too got or too cold)
