Scentsy. Is this an MLM?

I've not heard of this scentsy thing before, but suddenly had several people pop up on Facebook with over excited posts about wax candles. Is it an MLM?

On an aside, I don't understand why people are so willing to fill their houses with air particles that are likely to cause asthma and potentially are carcinogenic.
