Wasn't sure where to put this and I understand it will probably get people's backs up because it's about benefits but I have to ask because I can't find it anywhere on Google.
Can you claim benefits if you are homeless?
All it says on Google is to use hostels address but that isn't the information I'm looking for by homeless i mean literally that no hostel, no sofa surfing.......

Yes you can. The Jobcentre can be used as a care of address

Address options
If the claimant does not have a permanent address, there are options available to them.

They can use a care of address, like the address of a family member or trusted friend, if they are staying at a hostel they can use the hostel address as their address or in exceptional circumstances they can use their local jobcentre.
