Anyone feel like giving me a clue in my Sudoku puzzle?

Please!!

I've put what I've got so far into one of those Sudoku solver websites and asked for a hint. The hint says a particular square can be solved in 4 ways "easily" but I just can't see any of the ways

I'm quite experienced and usually do the difficult ones.

Will I put the details in here and hope someone can come to my aid.

So it goes

I've now abandoned the website but I think it was the 4th square across in either row 5 or 6 that was "easily solved" - but not easily to me!

It also rated the whole puzzle as easy to complete, so that's making me feel rather thick.

Bottom right 59 pair, eliminates other 9 in box --> 4
And 9 in row --> single 2

I'm not sure I get it (sorry!) can you explain a bit more? I will be forever grateful - have been looking at this for about a week.

Follow that through and you get a 19 couple along the bottom row, leaving a 4 and 3 single.

as an aside, have either of you tried here?

Ok, if you look at the bottom right square, there are two boxes which can only be a 5 or a 9.
So one is a 5 and one is a 9.
That means no other box in that square can be a 5 or a 9 and no other box in that line can be a 5 or a 9.
If you eliminate those, you get some single numbers.

Then along the bottom row, you have only two boxes which can be 1 or 9, so can eliminate all other 1's and 9's in the row, leaving you a 4 and a 3.

4th square across in row 5 (so under the 3) is 8, as you know the 8 has to be there or the other side of the 6; it can't be the other side, as those 2 blanks in that 3x3 have to be 5 and 7 in some order (as there are 5 and 7 in the boxes above and below in the other columns)....

In the bottom right hand square I can only see 2 cells that can't be a 9.
In the bottom row I can only see one cell that can't be a 9.

Hmmmm.... is that how the puzzle was printed? Because I think there must be a mistake somewhere! I have a square with no possible 4's...

@WhatIAmWorth - I had solved some of it. I don't think I got anything wrong otherwise the solver website I used would have told me?

They work diagonally too right?

If so then there's a mistake somewhere because from bottom left to top right diagonally the three can't be place in the centre square because there's already one there. But only the centre grid has empty spots for the 3 if that makes sense.

Ignore me. I should have googled first. I don't know why I thought they went diagonally with 1-9 too. 🤦🏽‍♀️

Some do the diagonal as well. Just not all

So in the center square 57 can only be in the squares above the 4.
This means the 8 has to go under the 3.
That was the easy bit.
