Global Developmental Delay - 14 months

Hi, my child has just been ‘diagnosed’ with GDD - he didn’t sit till 10 months, still doesn’t eat solid food and whilst he can stand holding onto something/ me he doesn’t pull himself up, crawl, stand unsupported or use a walker. We do a lot of mat play (inc tummy) time and standing practice daily and he is seeing specialists for eating and other areas as part of the ‘early intervention’ stage. I just wondered if anyone had a similar situation/ experience and where they got to? I’m finding everything I read is so noncommittal and whilst I don’t want to go down rabbit holes I like to be as informed as possible but am also trying not to panic (too) much! Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

My DD has mild GDD along with a few other issues. She didn't crawl or shuffle until 16 months and walked at 2.5. She gets there in the end it just takes longer. When she was 2 she went to a nursery at a special needs school and she really flourished there. Would something like that be an option for your DS?
