I have given up after 25 minutes of this. A total travesty of a much loved book. What was the BBC thinking of?????

I didn’t watch it as I guessed what you’ve said would happen.

I lasted 10 minutes with the adorably amoral aristos.

The music was rather strange but I liked the episode. I read the book many years ago.

Thank you for the advice not to bother with it on BBC IPlayer.

I didn't bother watching. Dominic West seems a huge creep.
