Face to face mental health assessments/therapy?

Is this likely to happen soon? I am waiting for an assessment with a psychiatrist but apparently very few are offering face to face consultations.

I don't want a zoom assessment. I want to actually see someone in person, surely this sort of service can't exist longer term via zoom for all? I know it suits some people but now that more and more people have received 2 x vaccines surely this type of service should re-open soon?

My therapist has been seeing me and several others in person for quite a few weeks now. I am paying privately though. I think it must depend on the therapist.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I am funding therapy privately too and waiting for insurance company to find me someone who is willing to do face to face consultation apparently.

In that case you may be better off looking yourself, a lot of therapists are back already, mine has been for months.

I have been seeing a therapist privately since the end of first lockdown last year face to face. You just need to contact people and ask if they are offering f2f sessions and see who can fit you in.
