Driving license question - will I get fined?

I need to renew my photocard driving license. I also need to change the name as I have never done it since getting married, several years ago. I will send it off this week but worried now that I will be fined, I'm sure at the time I didn't change the name as I thought I'd just do it when renewing, and thought it was OK. Looking online now though I might be wrong!

Marriage doesn't change your name in the UK. You might have some issues if insurance and licence are in different names. Generally pick a name and stick with it.
