Would you eat this fridge food?

The power to the downstairs sockets had gone off sometime this morning or last night , OH came to bed just after midnight and all was fine and I realised and had to switch the electrics back on just before 8am this morning.

We have chicken in the fridge , in the potentially up to 8 hours the fridge was off it went from its usual 5c to 12c , would you risk using the food still ? Confused thanks!

Yes. I don't suppose the food had gone up to 12 degrees, just the ambient temperature. I often get cheese out of the fridge to warm up before eating it and it takes several hours, even in 20 degree temps, so I shouldn't worry.

Yes. Cook it properly - I'm assuming you're not planning medium rare.
