DS is 5 tomorrow and we have resisted ‘big’ tech purchases until now. We live rurally, I was a primary school teacher before he was born and I just don’t want him hooked on tech. He watches tv etc and I do have a few games on my phone like dinosaur coding and I put CBeebies games on when we go away in the campervan, but my brother has bought him an Amazon Fire Tablet for kids thing for his birthday.
I’ve just set it up and it isn’t quite what I expected - it just seems like something to watch prime on? Admittedly I’ve just turned it on and set up a profile, but the reason my brother bought it is because I was telling him about my idea to set DS a profile up on DP’s tablet and by the time I’d finished the conversation, DB had ordered it.
I’m very grateful my brother has been so generous, but I don’t really know if it’s any good? Can I download the same games that I have on my phone or is it all Amazon dependent? Can I remove stuff like Ryan’s World??
