Family board games

After a long, wet miserable day inside, I have been thinking that we need more games to play as a family. That's me and dc aged 4 and nearly 6. We have a lit of the Orchard games, but they have been played to death. I think both dc could manage something more challenging and fun.

Any suggestions please?

There are lots of different versions of Monopoly aimed at younger children. We have two and enjoy them. Also, Game of Life and Junior Cluedo. Frustration is easy and fun.

Pass The Pigs is fun.

Sorry! Is brilliant.
Also Donkey card game, dobble, snakes and ladders, frustration.

Professor PUZZLE Moral Conflict https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07Z25PZRY/ref=cmswwrcppapiglttfabcNNM72965NZ7HDFJ1Z0TR??encoding=UTF8&psc=1

We play this, just have to ask questions and get the kids to answer on the pads - they love it. We can play the actual game version with friends xx

Outfoxed! Perfect for that age.

Card rather than board games, but UNO and Dobble are always popular.

Tiddlywinks (so much laughing while pinging Tiddlywinks around the room)
Sorry! (Game from my childhood I've recently bought)
Ludo

Our favourites at that age were dobble, junior labyrinth, ticket to ride first steps, junior catan, enchanted forest, 5 second rule junior.

Thanks all, I've never heard of some of these so will have a look online today and order a couple. I'm also going to get Kerplunk, because it was my favourite.

Ticket to Ride London. Its much smaller and more manageable than the full version, although you could get the full version and play in adult / child teams.

Labyrinth
Ludo
Sorry
Junior Monopoly
Junior Cluedo
Junior Scotland Yard
Guess Who
Junior Game of Life
Jenga
Brainbox

Also some of the harder Orchard Games, like Pop to the Shops.

Magic Tooth Fairy game is lovely. Does need an adult to help remind the order to do things, but very hands on.

Operation is good although at that age we didn’t play by the rules, just played with it taking the stuff out.
