I fancy my husband more due to his new job

He’s had a new job for about 6 months, but today was the first day I’ve met up with him during his lunch hour and I just felt really hot for him! (I do fancy him anyway, but felt extra today)

I think it’s either because I’m proud of him or the fact that he wears a uniform... which he’s never done before.

His old job took him away for work so I never got to see him in that role. It was weird today. I’m not entirely sure why that feeling came along.

Does anyone else feel like this towards their dh?

He’s a postman btw.

He’s a postman, so red t shirt and grey shorts. Although he also has a blue shirt which he looks particularly good in. His tan helps!

Oh, we used have a lovely postie just like him. Shorts and a tan all year round. Such a nice chap too. Always cheerful. Sadly he got a different job.
@Seafog What a gorgeous photo and look at you looking at him so adoringly. Six months! I bet you couldn’t wait to get him to climb your rigging 😂
🤣

@amusedbush

DH is a postie, I’ve never thought about it being a particularly hot uniform Grin
It’s weird, I’m not entirely sure it’s the uniform. More that he looks pretty athletic in it and shows of his tan well 🤔

@LindyLou2020

I personally think we should all witness seeing our partners in their work situations, if we can, or at least, as in this thread, in their work apparel. I used to be able to visit my DH in his workplace. At home, he and I merged into being parents and housekeepers. But seeing him at work, in a position of responsibility and talent, reminded me that he was a person in his own right, not just a husband and father, (not that they aren't important roles). He had his own identity, away from the home, and I saw him in a different light - the person I fell in love with, if you like!
Maybe this is where my feeling is coming from? Because he used to work away I never saw him in any other role other than dad and husband. But today, for the 1st time, I did!

Not exactly a uniform, but there is something about my husband in his decorating gear, white boiler suit, that gets going!

Annoy · 08/05/2021 23:59

@Seafog that’s a lovely pic! Lovely uniform too 😍😆

@DietrichandDiMaggio it’s what’s underneath that counts!

@evilonion it has been said that we look at each other like dogs staring at a plate of bacon, haha!
It's been captured in other pics too, where he is staring at me like that.

Seafog · 09/05/2021 00:01

And thank you for all the kind commentsSmile

EvilOnion · 09/05/2021 00:02

I love that Seadog - everyone should be looked at like they're a plate of bacon by someone 🤣

Annoy · 09/05/2021 00:02

I think it was also the fact that my dh looked happy.
He worked offshore for 20yrs up until last year, it paid twice as much as what he’s on now. But he hated it... particularly in the last 5yrs.

He looked so much happier today and it really turned me on

This is such a cute post . Lovely to hear OP. My hubby was a post when we first met and early in our marriage ,so I understand ! He's a gardener now and gets a great tan these days . Have fun !❤️

Lovely thread. ❤️❤️

mamabear715 · 09/05/2021 00:21

I loved to see my late husband in a boiler suit! :-)

Although he scrubbed up well in a proper suit, too..

Stinkywizzleteets · 09/05/2021 00:30

First time I saw my OH in scrubs I drooled a bit. I don’t know what it was….

Make a nice greetings card that would!

LaBellina · 09/05/2021 06:37

I would do a role play where your husband delivers a package to your home and he rang the doorbell as you were just in the shower.
And you accidentally dropped your towel after you opened the door. Oops 🙊.

(just make sure there are no neighbors around when you do this)

We find happiness where we can, and what a lovely light and cheerful thread!

Seeyou · 09/05/2021 06:38

@Seafrog. How do they get those uniforms so crisp and white ?

Me , I love a fireman . Such a cliche.

The average age of our neighbours is around 70 🤣

Is it the shorts? I think that would do it for me too...
