I fancy my husband more due to his new job

He’s had a new job for about 6 months, but today was the first day I’ve met up with him during his lunch hour and I just felt really hot for him! (I do fancy him anyway, but felt extra today)

I think it’s either because I’m proud of him or the fact that he wears a uniform... which he’s never done before.

His old job took him away for work so I never got to see him in that role. It was weird today. I’m not entirely sure why that feeling came along.

Does anyone else feel like this towards their dh?

I used to melt for my wife in her safety boots and Hi Vis jacket. She was a cargo agent at Heathrow airport. She also always used to carry a pen perched above her ear. She was lovely and I miss her. She died of cancer in July. 58 years young.

A couple weeks ago I saw my DH out in the wild unexpectedly and I thought ‘oh hello who’s this guy’ before he got closer and I realised it was him 😂

I personally think we should all witness seeing our partners in their work situations, if we can, or at least, as in this thread, in their work apparel.
I used to be able to visit my DH in his workplace.
At home, he and I merged into being parents and housekeepers.
But seeing him at work, in a position of responsibility and talent, reminded me that he was a person in his own right, not just a husband and father, (not that they aren't important roles).
He had his own identity, away from the home, and I saw him in a different light - the person I fell in love with, if you like!

Working from home, I now see my husband in his work situation every day. He works with databases in his pyjamas. I love him to bits but it’s not really the same 😂

My DH is a bin man... Not a particularly appealing uniform BUT I know what you mean - no way I'd be going anywhere near him with it on right enough, unidentified stains/smells all over the place 🤢🤣
